It was a short drive to the cafe and Mike parked the car opposite, and they both got out.

“Mike, thank you for today.”

“Don't thank me yet. What until midnight and you will see what a tit you have been.”

“You still don't believe me?”

“I want too, but predicting your own death is impossible. It was a dream, and at midnight you are going to feel a right idiot. Anyway, I am starved, you had better be right about this place. Elizabeth doesn't allow fry ups.”

“Is she one of those health freaks?”

“Oh yes. No fry ups, burgers, fizzy drinks, you name it. Don't get me wrong, the food she cooks is great, but I do miss the odd bit of junk food, so if you don't tell her, I won't.”

“You are going to love this place then.”

They got out the car and went over to the cafe. Mike sniffed the air that was full of the aromas of bacon being cooked. He breathed it in like a child entering a sweet shop, giving Johnny a smile as they entered the cafe.

They sat down close to the window. The cafe was half empty, and the interior was basic, with some old seventies style tables and plastic chairs, but Mike did not care. This was heaven. A waitress came over who looked less than clean, with food stains down her piny.

“What can I get you lads.” The middle-aged woman crooked at them.

“The works.” Mike said.

“Two all day breakfasts coming up. Drinks?”

“Two large coffees love.”

“Right you are.” The lady said as she scribbled the order down.

They heard her bark the order to someone in the back, then go back to her seat by the counter. They were both quiet, as they waited for the order. Mike watched as Johnny kept looking over his shoulder. He took a glance at what his brother was looking at, and it was a clock behind the counter. The clock was showing it was half ten. Johnny took the camcorder out and put it on the table. It was not switched on. He could see that Johnny genuinely believed the dream and judging by the anxiety in his face, Johnny was scared.

“Are we still recording this then?” Mike asked, trying to make conversation.

“We should, but we can let it alone for bit, if you want.”

“Good, because this is crazy.”

“I wish I could make you believe me. This is going to happen Mike. I feel it inside my body.”

“I get it, but let's just eat and do the list, and see how it pans outs.”

They smiled at each other, neither understanding how they felt about each other anymore. Mike was coming around to the idea of having Johnny back in his life, and Johnny was glad his brother was here. The waitress brought the tray over that was laden with plates. As she began to place them down, Mike smiled at his brother like he had won a prize. The waitress left, leaving them to ogle over the food.

“Wow. This looks amazing.
